The Boston Bruins Foundation and the Serve & Succeed Charitable Foundation (S&SCF) continue their impactful partnership with Operation Hat Trick (OHT), a nonprofit dedicated to aiding wounded and recovering service members. Through sales of custom-designed OHT hoodies and knit hats, this collaboration has raised over $160,000 in the past five years, directly supporting veterans in New England.
This year’s funds were donated to New England Center and Homes for Veterans, Ironstone Farm, and Fisher House Boston, helping fill critical gaps in care that other programs may not cover.
OHT, known for its innovative funding model, generates over 90% of its revenue through co-branded merchandise sales rather than traditional donations. Partnering with 500+ colleges, professional sports teams, and national retailers, OHT ensures ongoing financial support for nearly 100 veterans’ organizations across 38 states.
